Perspectives

TiPiT v1.5 provides four kind of perspectives, "Horizontal", "Single", "Double" and "Object". The two perspectives of "Horizontal" and "Single" may apply to a scene with only one vanishing point. Other perspectives may apply to a scene with two vanishing points. You may select better one fitting a scene of your input image in the four perspectives. Each perspective provides the 3D geometry constructed by some walls for it.

Horizontal

It may apply to such a scene with a horizontal line as the below samples. This perspective is called as "none" in TiPiT v1.0. This perspective creates 3D geomeries of board bent like a letter L in a 3D space of TiPiT.

In the 3D geometry of the above figure, the front purple side of the board bent is a wall named by "Goal". And the other green side (as a level surface) is a wall named by "Floor".

Single

This perspective may apply to such a scene with a explicit vanishing point as the below samples. This perspective creates 3D geomeries of a one-side-opened box like a blind alley in a 3D space of TiPiT.

In the 3D geometry of the above figure, the fornt purple side of the box is a wall named by "Goal". The bottom side is a wall named by "Floor". The right red side is a wall named by "Right Wall". The left orange side is a wall named by "Left Wall". And a top blue side is a wall named by "Ceiling".

Double

It may apply to such a scene with two vanishing points as the below samples. This perspective creates 3D geomeries of an outside corner (or an interior) of a corridor in a 3D space of TiPiT.

Object

It may apply to such a scene with two vanishing points as the below samples. This perspective creates 3D geomeries of an inside corner (or an exterior) of a corridor in a 3D space of TiPiT. Just, it is exactly like a parting of the ways in a cave. However, it closely resenble with the below sample of a building, also.
